In today’s sea of musical noise, you need a damn good track to grab peoples attention and bring you closer to quitting the day job.

When working with me, if you don’t love what you hear within 2 weeks, I’ll give you a full refund.

What do I offer?

Full production

Whether you're in need of a sparse instrumentation for a delicate, stripped-back track, or a dense production for a hard-hitting RnB number, I'll assemble the optimum sounds to suit the project. This includes expertly recorded acoustic drum & piano tracks that I'll personally put down if required

Mixing

I like to mix fast and efficiently to maintain objectivity on your project - something I'm able to do through many years of experience. This service can be included within the producer role, or standalone.
I pride myself on an expert ear to make the best choices when it comes to the critical decisions that determine the quality of the music

Mastering

If you'd prefer not to out-source your mastering, I offer it for free with my producing and mixing packages. I make two masters - one for CD release, and one for streaming and general sharing

The way things work with me

We kick off with a free exploratory call so I can find out exactly what you want and discuss how best it can be delivered upon
We work out a desirable and realistic deadline for the project
We discuss the ideal method of payment for you, including an affordable instalment plan that works best for most people
I draw up a contract for the works (which protects both of us)
After the payment of a small initial fee, work begins, starting a 2 week guarantee period where if you're not stoked with what you're hearing (give it a day or two 😅), you'll receive that initial payment back in full
I'll send regular mp3 updates your way, to make sure things are sounding on the right track
Once I believe I've got your music to a releasable standard (pre master) I'll implement any revisions you may have to fine tune it and put that cherry on top!
Mastering begins (offered free as part of my packages)
Once we're both happy with the final product, it's project sign off. Bring on release day!

This is where a lot of the artists I work with struggle! I endeavour to assist my clients as much as I can in this area.

Through multiple years of AB testing, studying and observing others in their wins and loses, I’ve gained considerable marketing experience that I can share with you throughout our time working together.

He mic’d up the band, set ambient mics, directed them into his mobile studio and and balanced the signals. Within 2 or 3 hours he turned a small rural theatre into a sonic working studio. Over 2 days we recorded 9 songs. Post-production was all Will, we had some overdubs, but gave Will space to finish. The results were stunning. not what we had expected, but a bigger, braver, harder band than we knew we were. He’s also a proper nice dude to work with. With love and thanks, The Blues Chapter"

Always great to work with a producer who is also a talented multi-instrumentalist! We collaborated on some tracks I produced and I gained lots of insights on quality mixing and mastering! Definitely recommended!

Will is not only a great guy, he’s a great educator, musician, producer and engineer. Will has been teaching me piano for the last few months and with his help I’ve exceeded my personal expectations of where I’d be with my playing in a short time. Payment structure

I don’t ask you to pay 50% upfront and 50% on completion like Soundbetter and many other freelancers do. That’s a hefty financial commitment to make before you’ve heard a thing, considering the cost of living today!

All I ask for is an initial £50 deposit, then if you’re not stoked with what you’re hearing within 2 weeks of working with me you’ll get it back.

Full production – from week 2 onwards, I offer a standard payment plan of 6 £100 instalments taken by direct debit each month. If that doesn’t work for you, we can discuss a personalised payment plan to suit your needs. The agreed payment plan can elapse the project completion date.

Mixing – following the 2 week guarantee period, I offer a 2 month payment plan taken by direct debit, to pay off the remaining amount. Again, this plan can and will most likely elapse the completion of the project.

Includes: Recording and general track layering - Clinical editing - Mixing - Mastering -Up to 7 revisions - FREE Mastering (if required) - Secure stereo and/or stem delivery

In this call we’ll cover:

The needs and demands of your compositions/demos, to transform them into radio-ready productions. I'll share my opinion on optimal instrumentation for your music and approaches for the general sound and mix.
Mapping out a potential music release plan that suits you. I'll give you my thoughts on how best to package your music for maximum impact, release formats, marketing approaches and more.
Recommended freelancers for the other pieces of the jigsaw! Chances are you'll probably need help in other areas such as creating a music video, radio plugging, booking live gigs in the build up to the release etc. I know a lot of great freelancers that are awesome at these things, and you will too.
